On Sunday, September 28, at the Bluebird Theater, the winners of the 1997 Westword Music Awards Showcase will be announced at a bash hosted by KTCL-FM's Mike Makkay and Bob Rupp of the Galactix. Also on tap is a special acoustic performance by A&M Records signees 16 Horsepower and a jam session featuring lots of the state's top musicians.
