HAG does have plenty of plans for the future, Favara says. Nonetheless, she's a little surprised to get some press attention for Herstory, which isn't traditionally well-publicized. "We never get reviewed," she says. "But we're not here to be judgmental or be critiqued--we just want to express women's ideas. I don't want to see that squelched or blown up, so I'd just as soon have [the press] stay away. I like it that way."
HAG presents Herstory 10/We Are What We Wear: Women and Clothing, 7:30 p.m. September 25-26 and 5 p.m. September 27, Mercury Cafe, 2199 California Street, $10, 303-722-7585.
