Soon the foursome will get the chance to boot butts overseas as well: Following an appearance at the CMJ Musicfest in November, the band is heading for Europe, where it's scheduled to play a series of dates with the lords of lo-fi, Sebadoh. Or so Chisholm thinks. "We don't know how official it is," he says. "Apparently we'll be playing at least one show with them, maybe more. I've heard secondhand that Lou Barlow likes the record--but he doesn't like it that much."
In the interim, the creatures from Creeper Lagoon are feverishly working on songs for their next disc, which they hope to begin recording this winter. Although the material is still in the developmental stage, Chisholm is excited by what they've come up with thus far. "I can't exactly say what they are just yet," he teases. "But there's a few interesting directions that things are going in."
Bet they'll sound great on headphones.
