Check, Please!

Readers give our food critic something to chew on.

Q:I'd happily patronize restaurants that don't allow smoking. Where are they?

A:The easiest way to find Denver's smoke-free eateries is to get a copy of the Smoke-Free Dining Guide from Boulder-based GASP of Colorado (Group to Alleviate Smoking Pollution). The nonprofit will mail the booklet, which includes over 600 Denver restaurants (GASP also offers brochures for other counties in Colorado), in exchange for a donation. You can order one from GASP, 2885 Aurora Avenue, Suite 37, Boulder, CO 80303-2252, or through the Web site, www.gaspforair.org/index.htm, which also features a searchable database of non-smoking spots.
