Even little kids can get in the act and help save the earth. The Children's Museum of Denver, I-25 and 23rd Avenue, ends the month of April with Trash Monsters, a Clubhouse Capers program that makes picking up litter fun. Participating youngsters will create grocery-sack monsters before heading out to the adjacent Platte River Greenway to stuff their sacks with trash; the activity takes place at 2:30 daily, today through Wednesday. Museum admission is $4 to $6; call 303-433-7444 or log on to www.mychildsmuseum.org.

Billy Corgan's burgeoning new guitar band, Zwan, is on the road, delivering Corgan's most recent set of signature post-punk art-rock tunes to freshly acquainted audiences turned on by the January release of Mary Star of the Sea. As usual, Corgan is all frontman, but the band itself is rumored to be a tighter vehicle than those smashed-up pumpkins he used to play with. The underground supergroup arrives in Denver tonight for a show at the Fillmore Auditorium, 1510 Clarkson Street; for tickets, $25, call 303-830-TIXS or log on to www.cc.com.
