Since its addition to Las Vegas's Luxor resort in 1998, RA's become a nightclub demigod, ruling over locals and tourists alike, known as much for the long lines outside as the hot tracks inside. Frequently credited for much of RA's success is music director and resident DJ Duane King. Priming his potent concoction of beats for over a decade, King pours liberal quantities of tribal, trance and house into each set, mixing the recipe masterfully. His top-shelf tracks keep him living la vida Luxor three nights a week, serving fresh blends for Wednesday night's Pleasuredome, Friday night's Empire and the sought-after house sets on Saturday nights. King's reign over a pantheon of entertainment on the Strip is testament to his talents behind the decks. Proof that King's powers extend beyond Vegas include tours to Ibiza and the U.K., as well as appearances on international festival rosters.
