And while holiday paraphernalia is currently front and center, the overall focus of this Park Hill store is on traditional Emerald Isle merchandise -- gold and silver Irish and Celtic jewelry, Aran wool sweaters, Galway crystal, Celtic crosses, greeting cards, books, music, Guinness accessories, Irish tea and artwork.
"Lots of people understand that just because something doesn't have a shamrock on it, that doesn't mean it isn't Irish," says Bergquist.
Open since last August, the store also offers shirts, blankets and Irish-pub wall hangings that can be personalized with a family's coat of arms.
"The neat thing about the store is that it doesn't appeal to just one age group or sex," says Bergquist. "We attract everyone from college students to retirees who finally have time to research their family genealogy."

Chill out at Frozen Dead Guy Days

Bredo "Grandpa" Morstoel -- who died in 1989 and is perhaps Nederland's most famous cryogenically preserved resident -- is still chillin' in a Tuff Shed. The frosty subject of several independent films, trashy tabloid articles and tours will once again bring notoriety to the timberland town during the third annual Frozen Dead Guy Days, today through Sunday. Included in the frigid festivities are coffin races, a Grandpa look-alike contest, champagne tours of Grandpa's hideaway and a frozen T-shirt contest; as always, stiff competition is expected. Women's Hall of Fame Taps Terrific Ten

Ten extraordinary individuals will be honored at tonight's Colorado Women's Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. This year's group includes Anna Lee Aldred, Merle Chambers, Dr. Patricia Gabow, Carlotta LaNier and Lieutenant General Carol Mutter, as well as five women who will be honored posthumously: Louie Croft Boyd, Antoinette Perry-Frueauff, Charlotte Perry, Portia Mansfield and Arie Taylor.
"These are women who have done things for all of us; they've helped to elevate the status of women in our community and our state," explains Sandra Shreve, president of CWHF's board of directors. "It's a very inspiring evening, because they're wonderful role models for all of us, especially young girls."
Emceed by News 4's Stephanie Riggs, the event kicks off at 5:30 p.m. at the Donald R. Seawell Grand Ballroom in the Denver Performing Arts Complex, 14th and Curtis streets; a cocktail reception will be followed by dinner and the induction ceremony.
