The hot new Zengo wants to fire up Denver's restaurant scene -- and exotically named cocktails that combine Latin and Asian influences are just the right fuel. My favorite is the cool yellow Huetzi ($8), made with Bacardi and mango rums along with fresh mango, ginger and lime juices; it's served muddled and on the rocks in a wineglass garnished with a chunk of ginger. Other sizzling options include the Yuzu Yuzu, the Mojito Cuzco and the Orinoco, as well as extensive rosters of sake and tequila to go with the spicy ceviches, sushi rolls and upscale entrees. Located in the Riverfront Park development just a stuffed olive's throw from Tamayo -- chef/owner Richard Sandoval's first Mile High foray -- the colorful, mod Zengo is drawing Denver's pretty people like moths to a flame. But watch out for the bar stools: They're so squishy that more than one Huetzi (which means "to fall down" in ancient Aztec) could easily send you sliding onto the red-and-black-tiled floor.
