Illuminated by steady streams of a gradually changing neon glow, the bi-level retreat is abundant with Zen decor. Forget the rumbling metropolis outside as you drift through the intimate candlelit front room with its sleek white ottomans. Even dreamier seating awaits downstairs, where overstuffed pillows surround colossal columns and low-slung settees share space with a spiraling-bamboo water garden behind cascading sheers. Flow's main bar, which opens at 4 p.m., offers a swanky menu of sophisticated swill along with a five-page wine list. The house-created "Tainted Love" is a concoction of lime-flavored spun cotton candy doused in Hpnotiq, Bacardi Coco, cranberry juice and housemade sweet-and-sour. Although it will soak up $8.50 from your wallet, the tasty treat is made with top-shelf love and not meant to be chug-a-lugged. Save room for the kitchen's chic nibbles, such as prosciutto-and-roasted-red-pepper macaroni and cheese or pancetta-wrapped pan-seared sea scallops. There's no cover charge at the lounge, which is open 24/7: As gracious house concierge Steve Miller explains, "It really is just a hotel lobby." Regardless, you'll want to put on your finest and go with the Flow.
