While the violent bobbing, weaving and lunging of guitarist Evan Patterson, bassist Nick Thieneman and drummer Geoff Paton sounds like Pavement's lost black-metal album, Steve Sindoni's larynx-shredding vocals obscure surprisingly sensitive and introspective lyrics.
