Carlos D has already made his mark in the music world playing bass in the hugely popular, NYC-based Interpol. And before he played out as a DJ in various bars and clubs in Gotham, he cut his teeth at New York University's WNYU, where he hosted a goth-specialty radio show. While Carlos is known for spinning primarily post-punk, new-wave and electro staples like Depeche Mode and Joy Division, his set lists can also bounce around to Neil Diamond, Tammy Wynette and maybe even some metal, depending on the night. Carlos D is not simply a rock star making a novelty DJ appearance; he's the real thing. The man will make a special appearance with the boys at Lipgloss at La Rumba this Friday, New Year's Eve.
