DJ Lady Tribe would probably be one of the first to admit that her looks have opened doors. But although her obvious sex appeal may have landed her steady residencies at some of L.A.'s top hip-hop clubs, it's her turntable skills that have kept her there -- and proved she's no novelty. Tribe initially made her mark as a graffiti artist at the age of thirteen, later becoming a DJ as a way to make money to handle the legal troubles she no doubt encountered getting up all over the City of Angels. Now a prominent name in Latino hip-hop, she'll be bombin' the Church this Friday, February 11, in support of her recently released mix CD, Cholo Super Mix.
