More About

Trance music's massive popularity within the club scene can be largely attributed to the efforts of Miami's George Acosta. With the release of his first mix CD, 2000's Awake, both trance music and Acosta experienced a huge surge in popularity within the U.S. dance scene. Suddenly Acosta found himself rubbing elbows with such trance cognoscenti as Sasha and Digweed as he played events like the Ultra Music Festival and Rave on the Rocks. With fifteen years behind the decks under his belt, beginning with the warehouse rave days and leading up to the super clubs of the new millennium, Acosta's ability to appreciate the music as a fan keeps his sets exciting and, most important, relevant as sounds and tastes change. A longtime Denver favorite, Acosta returns to join resident Lotus DJs Nutmeg and Kostas, to help the club celebrate its one-year anniversary.
