Wednesday, August 31Food and language are soul mates, and there's nothing more universal than a conversation over dinner. With that in mind, the language faculty of DU's University College for continuing education puts one and one together for tonight's Taste of Language, an event bent on enticing students into the fold for fall language courses. From 6 to 8 p.m., participants can sample a thirty-minute language lesson in any of a dozen or so languages offered by the school -- including Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Italian and Japanese -- before digging into a tasting table of dishes from many cultures.
