Letters to the Editor

From the week of November 3, 2005

Unfortunately, the only way to avoid the long commutes and endless parking lots we all despise is the retro idea of mixed-use developments. This means the return to shopping locallyŠum, wait, that's bad. It throws off the optimistic city budget projections generated by the big-box developers.

More in store:Great article on the insanity in Broomfield/Westminster, but Jared left out the great new 700,000-square-foot retail development named Arista now under construction to serve the vastly underdeveloped space between FlatIron Crossing and the Westminster Mall. We all must be millionaires up here to support all these grand new shopping opportunities!
