When I finally woke up, I saw that it was 11:52! I had time to go back inside, lie about what had happened to me and spend New Year's with the most beautiful woman ever! The line to get in wrapped around the block, and the cover had jumped to $50. Heartbroken, I stumbled back in the direction of the hotel. Suddenly, all of San Francisco was abuzz with New Year's greetings. Midnight had struck. I stood alone on the streets of a strange city as 1999 was born. I heard someone nearby mumble "Happy New Year." As I turned around, I was planted with a big, wet kiss. After the kiss I saw that instead of the gorgeous MTV VJ, I had been kissed by a homeless man.
