"It was the funniest book I've read in a long time," says York, a University of Colorado at Denver prof and poet. "It's hard to write poems that are comical yet seem expert as well. To be able to combine humor and sublimity in that way is really impressive. She's young and quirky and very energetic." Naturally, he'd want her to read at another of his many endeavors, the Denver Mint Reading Series.
