Are the Colorado Young Democrats and the Denver Young Democrats sponsoring tonight's Celebrity Poker match to prove what a gamble politics is these days? Not at all, insists the DYD's Dan Pabon. "We wanted to create a non-traditional political event," he says. A $10 donation will get folks a chance to play Texas Hold 'Em with a gaggle of local officials, including state representatives Terrance Carroll and Michael Cerbo. "We'll give you chips," Pabon adds.

Let them fall where they may.

A happy hour preceding CYD/DYD Celebrity Poker begins at 5 p.m. at 550 East 12th Avenue; gaming starts at 6 p.m. Dial 303-378-8658 for more info.
