X Marks the Spot
Dozens of adult film stars will show off their very fine body of work at the third annual Adult Filmstar Ball, which runs from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. tonight at La Bohème Gentleman's Cabaret, 1443 Stout Street, and is second in size only to the AVN Awards (the Oscars of adult entertainment) in Las Vegas. "Last year we were really very, very busy, and the event was a ton of fun," says Lance Migliaccio, owner of La Bohème, the renovated adult club in downtown Denver. "This year, the quality of the features is much better, and the overall talent is much better." Even the sponsors are better. "Playboy has never formally endorsed an event at a gentleman's club before," he points out, and Club Jenna, Beatport and Perrier-Jouët are also on board. But while he'll be busy overseeing screenings by thirty stars and performances by 150 La Bohème entertainers and DJ MCB, Migliaccio still plans to keep watch for his favorite stars, Ashton Moore and Sophia Rossi.
