If you like to do your holiday shopping in July, then you'll be stoked to pre-game your winter theater, too. Beat out the slackers tonight at the Denver Performing Arts Complex for special engagements of A Christmas Carol and Season's Greetings. Even sans Muppets, the musical adaptation of the classic Dickens tale is pure bah-humbuggin' family fun, filled with the usual assortment of puss-faced Scrooge scowls and Tiny Tim one-liners. Season's Greetings, which opened last week, is a hip comedic look at everything that will inevitably go wrong on Christmas Eve from drunk relatives to missing presents. And it has puppets!
Season's Greetings runs through December 23, and Christmas Carol ends a day later. Tickets for either performance may be purchased at www.denvercenter.org or by calling 303-893-4100.
