The French language is fraught with vowels, with multiples of "i," "e" and "o" all packed together like sardines in one word. "There are certainly lots more than in the English language," concedes Jeremy Sortore. This may seem like a minor detail to you and me, but it's crucial for a singer like Sortore, whose chief concern is projecting a delicate balance of enunciation and volume. The 27-year-old classically trained baritone has appeared in numerous musicals and operas and accompanied various symphonies. Tonight he'll lend his euphonic timbre to Love Letter From Paris, a collection of classical and popular songs on the subject of l'amour, sung in English and French with English supertitles.
