Olympic snowboard medalist Chris Klug had always lived life on the edge. He could conquer any mountain but when he learned he needed a liver transplant, he faced a real uphill battle to get back into fighting form for the Snowboard World Cup Tour ("The Bounce-Back Kid," March 8 and 15, 2001). With the help of a great medical team and a supportive family, Klug emerged on top. Tonight at the Paramount Theatre, 1621 Glenarm Place, experience Klug's wild ride during Ride of Your Life, the Colorado premiere of a documentary that follows not just Klug, but two others waiting for organ transplants. Doors open at 6 p.m., the movie screens at 7, and Opie Gone Bad takes the stage for a show starting at 8:30. Tickets to the evening are $24, which benefits the American Transplant Foundation; you'll also have a chance at winning door prizes, and at saving someone like Klug who will be on hand when you register as an organ and tissue donor.
