The fun starts as soon as the doors open tonight at 6 p.m. at Pandora Jewelry, 220 East 13th Avenue. "We're immediately doing a free tote-bag giveaway to the first fifty people," says owner Stephanie Shearer. Then Vivienne VaVoom from Burlesque As It Was (aka Westword contributor Michelle Baldwin) will give shimmy lessons, followed by "a shimmy-off with fabulous prizes," Shearer adds.

Why all the fuss? Because it's Pandora's fourteenth birthday, and the shop is celebrating in style. There's even a cake bakeoff with about twenty hopefuls aiming to win best overall cake — or at least one of three other titles: Most Creative, Most Pandora-y and Best Effort Gone Bad. The Denver Roller Dolls will hand out temporary tattoos while Denver artisan Megan Kelley creates on-the-spot, customized charm bracelets, and screen printers A Size Too Small will screen any T-shirt, pillowcase or other swath of fabric with a logo designed specifically for this party — at no cost to you. Don't miss out! Visit www.pandorajewelrydenver.com or call 303-832-7073 for information.
