For Kids' Sake

When Urban Peak first opened its doors in 1988 to shelter homeless youth, those doors were to a church and revealed a harbor of cots. Since then, Urban Peak has come to stand solidly and sustainably on its own two feet, offering kids both shelter and access to an array of supportive services, from on-site medical facilities to poetry workshops, as well as an opportunity to make a permanent exit from the street. Part of the organization's success comes from putting the "fun" in fundraiser. Exhibit A: Tonight's tax-deductible trip to the circus — aka Cirque du Soleil's Corteo. Tickets are $125 and include a parking pass and a 5:30 p.m. pre-party where you can hobnob with the Consulate General of Canada. Contact Jessica Harvey at 303-974-2935 or jessica.harvey@urbanpeak.org for tickets and information.
Thu., July 12, 5:30 p.m.
