McHale and Harley

What’s up with this? Can it be that Scotch-sipper, actor and satirical humorist Joel McHale, host of the E! network’s The Soup and star of screens large and small, is the opening act at one of Colorado’s biggest and most complete organized motorcycle rallies? That’s the plan: McHale kicks off events at Thunder in the Rockies with a live performance at 7:30 p.m. in the Budweiser Events Center, 5290 Arena Circle in Loveland. This amid a four-day glut of biker-maniac paradise featuring live music, vendors, stunt shows, exhibitions, poker runs, scenic rides, Harley-Davidson demos and anything else a biker could wish for. Did we leave something out? Let’s see: Further entertainment includes performances by AC/DC tribute band TNT and Led Zepagain, a roller derby match, a strongman competition and more.

Tickets for McHale’s comedy show range from $28 to $40, and admission to the rally, which runs today through Labor Day, is $10 daily or $15 for the long weekend; for information and ticket reservations, visit www.thunderintherockies.comor call 1-877-544-TIXS.
