People can't blame god for everything that bad happens for where there's a god there's satin. Satin rules our world today, there is more evil in the world than good. And god didn't create aids we the people created aids by practicing un sanitary un healthy personal activites. God never told people to go have unprotected sex with multiple partners....who told Eve to eat the apple after god told her not to? Just like he said sex is a sacrid bond between two people to be able to create the miricale of life by having children. God said sex should be made for one man and one woman. And if there is indeed a god which there has to be, that he in fact created aids? Do u have proof? How do we know aids isn't the works of our twisted government as means of population control? It's pretty ironic that A woman that has AIDS, a virus that is passed by bodily fluids or blood can give birth to a child now days that has a 91% chance of NOT beings born with AIDS if the mother properly takes the medicine she needs the way she's suppoed to. If that's possible how can they possibly not have a cure for the virus. And as for cancer u really believe that there is still no cure? Look at the technology in today's society, it's more brilliant than ever but there's no cure for cancer. It is said to be by many dr's and other believers that there is in fact a cure for cancer and has been for a long time. A dr discovered a cure for cancer by creating a diet that cleanses the body and provides the body with nutrients that prevent and can attack cancer cells. It's been proven to work and documented by his patients. He cured his daughter of shingles by the regimen. His theory is dismissed by government and questions about it always get arise or are immediately turned down by the government. Some say that in med schools they teach students to not believe and never practice the theory nor speak of it. How can we be sure that the people of the world practice inhumane unsanitary disgusting sexual activites where germs have a breeding ground and mixed with other germs to create the HIV virus that could or could not have the potential to turn into full blown aids? Not fake why would queen Elizabeth II out of nowhere purchase property right near DIA. she the queen she could by propert anywhere she wanted but yet she chose somewhere in the middle of nowhere surrounded by field. Why were the six buildings that were built for DIA buried with dirt because they were supposedly built in the wrong place, normally buildings would be torn down and rebuilt in the right place. I live in denver n ever time I go by the airport there is construction going on in the middle of the fields yet there's never anything to show for the construction or even a set purpose for it. The property has fences all around it with barbedwire at the top of it that faces in not out just as a jail would to keep prisoners from getting over the fences. Why in the middle of a field surrounding DIA's property would fences need to be put up to keep people from getting out not in...? As for children going missing what better people to take to create a new world order. Children and be taught, trained and brainwashed to be anything one wants them to be. What better than innocent children who have no knowledge about the real world or the difference between wrong and right. With children the government can teach them whatever they want and not teach them anything they don't want to know. They can teach them their definition of wrong and right. With children they can create an ideal population that will live by what their taught. Adults are harder to brainwash and have a better chance of turning on the new world or won't go along with it because adults know that killing 90% of the population. With 90% of the population gone the formation of a new world order would be a lot easier to create. Take a look at the US's modern day stonehedge called the Georgia Guidlines those are very much real and made known by the government....those my friend are just a huge coincidence right...? And btw there is in fact real and known tunnels and projects going on under DIA but the purpose for them is unknown. They have a purpose obviously or they wouldn't be building them. Is the government preparing for something we the people don't know about, maybe they don't even know but the rumors of the world ending in 2012 could be just enough to start preparing. There was Just recently a NATION WIDE emergency alert system! Now there is another strange coincidence huh...? And so the question remains...just what is going on under DIA!? Is the government preparing for the end of the world or natural disaster or are they planning and creating their way to carry out a mass genocide to create the perfect population for a new world order. Whatever the purpose we'll most likely be finding out together my friend. Neither outcome looks great for our futures....start noticing the meaning in everything that goes on in your life and the world. Queen Elizabeth II has purchased property near DIA why out of anywhere in the world to by property would the Queen of England by property in the middle of pretty much nowhere n surrounded by fields....? President Kennedy was assassinated after his speech which pretty much uncovers the governments plans of the new world order and it's projects. The only people that ridiculous running paragraph convinced are people who have never opened a world history book in their lives. By implying that all conspiracy theories are false, you are endorsing everything the government tells you, which is not a good thing to do. Governments lie to people, it is what they do best. No one is telling you to believe absurd stories that have no factual foundations. But if you dismiss all other theories other than the "official" state sponsored version of events, you are crippling your ability to think freely and for yourself. There MUST be a second version of events, even if it is speculative. Without people being able to question the state sponsored story, we are giving up automatically. There must always be doubt and questioning of the government, and if there is not, we run the risk of becoming ruled by tyranny.
The stigma of conspiracy theories and the judgment passed to those who entertain them is a creation of the media and the government itself. They want people to do exactly what you do, and automatically dismiss ALL other theories about what may have happened, other than their own "official" story. They have you thinking that ALL conspiracy theories are false, just by applying the label of "conspiracy theory" to any alternative concepts of what may or may not have happened. By doing this, you have basically surrendered your ability to think for yourself, and have allowed them to dictate their version of events to you as if they were 100% true. That is really embarrassing if you ask me. You are the guy who buys anything any everything the government has to tell you. You have the same blind faith for government that most christians have for their religious cult.
Let me tell you the biggest, false "conspiracy theory" of all time. A man went to Dallas with a rifle, which he sucked at shooting and could not use the fancy new scope very well, marched to the top of a book suppository building, made an extremely difficult "down angle shot" at JFK and killed him in three shots. And he did this ALL BY HIMSELF. Not only that, but the bullet he fired into JFK was magic....as in it defied the known laws of physics during its flight path through the president. Now THAT'S a theory that holds ZERO water to the majority of Americans.
Have you ever wondered why people do not like police agencies to do internal investigations. The idea of the officers in question having a friend conduct the investigation into any wrongdoings is a big too much for the public to swallow. I guess they have this idea that maybe the police officers wont be as objective when looking into their own kind, and that they might go a bit easy on their fellow officers. The same goes for presidential commissions like the Warren Commission and the 9/11 Commission.

You sound to me like a person who has blind faith in their government, and believes every word they are told. How is that any different from following a religious cult like christianity? If you were not blindly believing the governments side of the story, then why would you label all conspiracy theorists as having a mental disorder? That means you will take the gov. word on any issue. Do you really think Oswald killed JFK? Do you really think we were powerless against the 9/11 attacks? Do you really think the government is working for your interests? The JFK assassination and the magical explanation that was given by the Warren commission is far less believable than ANY of the theories on who was really behind the killing. I won't get into evidence because there is too much to cite. It is not "rational" to think that a magical bullet, that can defy the laws of physics, was able to kill JFK like they claim it did.
Some people who question the "official" story that is told to us by the government, and their self appointed commissions, are not tin hat wearing nuts that believe the world is run by secret aliens. They are just people who will not be persuaded to believe one theory over another unless they are given hard evidence to support one theory or another. It is the government and the media who vilifies people who doubt the state sponsored "official" story, and groups all of them together as a stigmatized bunch of people who are only making up crazy stories because they hate the government. They have turned the words "conspiracy theorist" into something that culturally means "nut case alien believer." All of this is not true. Although there are people who will buy into any ridiculous story they are told, I think those people are no different from the people like you who will buy into any "official" story told by the government simply because it came from the government. They are both contradictory to free thought and logical analysis. In order to think for yourself, you must doubt both sides of every story and search through all the information, or misinformation, for the truthful pieces of evidence. When you add up all those pieces of hard evidence, then you can make or draw whatever conclusions you feel are correct. But when you come here and claim that "every bit" of this DIA conspiracy theory has been "easily debunked point by point," without providing proof that EVERY BIT has in fact been proved false, then you make yourself look really close minded and stupid. You are actually wrong, because not every bit has been debunked, and there are some parts that cannot be debunked because it is not objective. The murals are not something that you can definitively say is right or wrong....it is only art. However, there are many inconsistencies in the construction and design of the airport that have not been debunked. Why was so much earth moved? Why was there so much fiber optic cable laid down? Why are the trains to the boarding gates underground and why do they travel so far to get to the gates? Why so many different contractors used? Why wouldn't they be interviewed about their work on DIA? Why is the airport in the same area as the NORTHCOM base? Why does it take up so much land compared to other airports? I have never heard any of that stuff "debunked." So until you can come back and prove all of these things to be nothing, I will have my doubts and beliefs.
Why is it such a radical idea to you that DIA is also an underground base? There are many underground bases, some secret and some not, all across the United States. Mount Weather is one of the biggest ones, and they do not hide it at all. There is also one near Denver in Colorado Springs that is built into the side of a mountain. The deep underground military bases are very real, so why is it such a stretch to doubt weather or not DIA is also an underground facility? When Stalin build his underground military bases in Russia, it was absolutely common procedure to cover the construction of the underground facility with construction of above ground buildings, such as train stations. They would be building both at the same time, but the appearance to the public was that they were only building a train station. It would make perfect sense for the US to do the same thing to cover the construction of certain underground facilities that they want to keep secret from the public.
I certainly hope you do not come back with something as simple as "all that has been debunked, you are wrong." But it would not surprise me much, because you do seem very close minded. And by the way, religion is not a mental disorder. If that were true, then a majority of the worlds population would be mentally ill. People who believe in religions are nothing more than cult followers, who are people that are looking for a place to belong, and something to believe in. Religions are cults, and the people who follow them are all the same....they are asked to have blind faith in whatever they are following/worshiping. I could care less what they are worshiping, what bothers me is the fact that they are willing to blindly worship a "god" that cannot be proven to exist. Those people may be weak minded and less than intelligent, but they are not mentally ill.
One thing I do know for sure is that governments lie to people. That is what they do best. You should never just blindly believe whatever the government tells you, or even what the media tells you. That makes you no different than the religious cult followers.

Even if nothing happens with the solar flares in 2012, there is a very high probability of civil unrest/revolution in the next few decades. You have huge issues that we refuse to face, such as the oncoming energy and water crisis, or the constant threat of another economic collapse. If we run low on energy, people will not be able to afford the inflated prices of food. Everything we buy is moved around by shipping vessels, airplanes, and trucks. If oil is so low that the price skyrockets to prices that 95 percent of the nation cannot afford, you can count on nationwide civil unrest and riots. That is all in a 15-30 year time frame. Then the water crisis is even more scary. Without clean water, human life is not possible. All of these threats are good reasons why the elites would be planning these underground facilities, with OUR tax dollars. They are stealing OUR money and using it to fund these underground enclaves that we are not allowed to use at all. THIS is the kind of government behavior that our founding fathers warned us about. This type of treatment is not acceptable. The first half of the 21st century is going to be an extremely rough time period for human being to live through, IF we even make it through. Anyone who refuses to believe that our modern, global civilization cannot falter and change drastically, for the worse, is either suffering from cognitive dissonance or is too stupid to realize what is happening in the world/universe around them.
All I know about these underground bases is, they better keep a HUGE number of armed guards around the air vents and ducting that poke out of their underground bases, because people will be trying to smoke them out or suffocate the people inside. I wonder how the soldiers sitting outside in the "elements" are going to feel about their command post.

How can you trust someone or something that you can't even prove exists? Are you going to give me the "faith" speech about how you were brainwashed to believe all you need is to blindly follow and believe what the church tells you to? If god does exist, he should be ashamed of himself for allowing babies in Africa to get AIDS, and for allowing kids to be kidnapped/rapped/murdered all the time in this world. If he is responsible for everything in this world, then I'd like an explanation as to why he is making the worlds atrocities to happen, and why he is not punishing the evil men and women who walk the earth with impunity (Dick Cheney). God does not exist, and one of the reasons our country and our world is so messed up is because most people still refuse to believe the truth about it. 35 to 45 million Americans know the truth....that there is no such thing as a "creator." With every generation, the percentage of people willing to believe the truth over the absurd lies that churches spew is growing. In 1990 is was 8% of the nation, and now it is 15%. Someday maybe humans will finally rid themselves of the enormous weight that is holding them down, also known as religion.

The biggest conspiracy theory of all is that rich, powerful, and well-connected people in ANY nation would never work together in secret to protect or expand their wealth, influence, and control over the rest of us. This is bolstered with the Santa Claus fantasy of a benign, well-intentioned elite in the upper echelons of governments or corporations working for the betterment of the common man. Did everyone forget what the banks and Wall Street did to our economy in 1929, and how they are orchestrating a much larger sequel today? Or is it OK we handed them a few trillion dollars and they refuse to say where they spent it? The tired argument that "any conspiracy so large would have been impossible to conceal" does not withstand historical scrutiny. The Manhattan Project, which developed the first atomic bomb, involved forty locations and employed over 200,000 people. They even built entire cities to house their workers. All those people had friends and families, and yet one of the largest undertakings in human history was never compromised. Like everyone else, I have no idea what if anything is concealed beneath DIA. But I do know that when the government wants to keep a secret, they do. Remember, "News is that which someone, somewhere does not want revealed. Everything else is advertising."

sorry i had to expand a lil i left some things out. Iv actually read a series of E-mail dialogs between a researcher demanding answers to all these things and a spokesperson for DIA, the spokesperson deals with this stuff a lot and their job is to pretty much tell anyone who asks that its all poppy cock! well ofcourse it this conspiracy is real, no actually working at the airport would be previed to that info, i mean not even the heads of departments that make up the operation, mayor webb might know, i believe that shneider fellow claimed to have a tape recording of a CIA agent bribing webb to get the project off the ground, but has never produced it.
as for the capstone, yes mason made, and a weird design at an even stanger location, it does give the main terminal a "floating ship" kind of feel(picture something from finaly fantasy) like a helm of sorts. but all that aside the strangest thing about the capstone, is the panal that extends up for passers by to examine, it sits in front of you like a keybord, on the left has a gold colored freemason's symbol(square and compass) and next to that are a series of strange dots. my first reaction well this is obviously brail for the blind, only the dots aren't like traditional brail, they form an eratic pattern, like some cryptic code iv never seen before. i could be wrong tho. lastly while on the subject of aliens and what not, id like to mention the floor. Iv heard that purchasing granite and dying to your desired color is a fairly cheap and preffered method during construction. the floor at DIA however is one of kind. Its made from mixes of granite from all over the world, natural colors, and a design that's supposed to motivate constant flow(keep you moving) the floor is quite expensive here i can't cite my references but i read somewhere it cost millions! there are also very strange but indian like designs in the security check points, their hard to see cuz there are always a ton of people standing on em, but their arrows inlayed pointing to specific locations i'm sure, and weird inlays of eclipsed black suns. very intriguing. And lastly here is my far fetched theory, the horse its eyes light up, but sometimes only when your looking right at them from a side veiw, i believe there is a facial recog software and camera in there compiling data on a computer somehwere, i mean why not its great for detecting incoming threats to the airport?...think about it.

hi everyone hows it goin! i hope more people read this article and these comments cause this one is important.
1st off, i liked the article, it WAS well written and WELL researched, i know because I WORK at DIA currently, and because of my job's down time, i have a lot of free time to roam around and observe. I heard about this crazy story about two years ago, i dedicated a lot of time into looking into it, sadly much to no avail, but let me clear up a few things.
first of all, everything at DIA is secure, its a CLASS X airport, wich means its required to have maximum security measures. All the elevators that passengers can use only go where they are allowed, and kind of freight elevator, or cargo elevator leading to any area of the infrastructure is security protected by ID badge readers-meaning you can't get on with out an ID badge. So these few people who claim they've been there and seen it, their lying, unless it was during construction. Its true they used multiple contractors much like covert agencies breaking missions into peices so noone gets the whole picture. IF its down there, nobody working there knows about it, and they prob wouldn't put access to it anyplace where civilians or workers can "accidently" find it. The most convincing theory says the under ground facility is at least 2 miles under the bottom layer of the main terminal, that's really far! so who knows, but there is a man made land structure not to far from the terminal.. its a land fill from what i understand, good for keeping people away, the giant hill is obviously man made you can tell by the stacked layers of dirt. also there is a water treatment facility(i assume) which looks like a good entrance for this giant area of unused land, where there is a lot of UN suspicious activity.
lastly the paintings are quite damn eery and in some instances disturbing, but after careful examination over and over again there is nothing extraodinary about them except the emotion they provoke. iv seen pictures of them covered and painted over certain details, but i glance at them daily and take it from me, their all 4 there and still unchanged except the touch ups they did to the color. thank you!

As child I can remember watching aircraft taxing on TOP of a tunnel like overpass. We always tried to talk Mom into speeding up so we could be inside as the plane was directly on the overpass. Somewhere around the Quebec Street exit if memory serves me. So it wasn't a classic overpass as it was meant strictly for planes, but vehicles did travel through the tunnel like structure that was the taxiway above.

I work in telecommunications and had a meeting with my employer's CIO and another company we was a customer / partnered business. One of their talking points regarding direction of the business included building large underground server farms under airports to house massive storage area networks and sell remote backup services. Airports were chosen due to their power generation which by defualt is installed to keep the airport from failing due to commercial power outages.
Ths was the only time I ever heard of this plan discussed and that particular CIO left the company soon after. I can't say that this is what is under DIA however the time frame and similarities did make me recall that meeting.

In the mid '90's i attended many meetings organized by the militia/Christian Identity/Patriot movement in Stevens County, WA to educate myself about people expressing virulent hate publicly. I gathered boxes of materials and read them. I witnessed the advocation of hanging homosexuals and read the Christian Identity belief statement which justified executing Jews, racemixers (me) and homosexuals. It was scary, but deeply educational.
When 9/11 happened, i recognized the template of these bigots, many who were involved in the militia movement of the '90's, of being anti semitic, anti choice, anti immigrant, homeschoolers (which i also was), alternative medicine and pro gun. Sadly most are not aware of the attempts by the extreme racist right to woo the left or the peace movement. The 9/11 truth movement has got to be the biggest success story of the extreme racist right since the height of the KKK in the 1920's. What really sickens me is how benign these characters are portrayed when people like David Icke are associated with violent neo nazi groups in Britain, features the very hateful Ann Coulter (called the female David Duke) on his website as well as horrific stories meant to denounce any who have abortions.
At least 2 such nuts left Stevens County to kill people of color elsewhere. Buford Furrow opened fire on a Jewish Community Center in L.A. wounding 5 Jewish children and went on to shoot and kill a Filipino mailman. Chevy Kehoe, a Christina Identity believer, killed a black Arkansas gun dealer, his wife and child.
The meetings i attended always were focused on the right to bear arms, the New World Order, Lyndon LaRouche's writings, American Free Press, once known as the Spotlight and other such materials that have appeared on the 9/11 conspiracy websites. Sadly, the scapegoatism of such mindsets take over and people go along with unverified information. I am astounded at the numbers of people passing around the Illumnati crap in a so called progressive community.
The border vigilantes are of this ilk. And these people are among the most well armed residents of this country. Sickens me.

Did it ever occur to anyone that the purpose for underground structures, if they exist, is simply airport expansion potential? I know the consultants who worked on the airport - they have been planning an airport in my town for the past 20 years, so far to no avail. Consider future underground railway stations to access the airport.

And there ARE four Tanguma murals at DIA. There have always been four. None have been covered, none have disappeared.

this is a poorly researched, highly biased article. what kind of journalism is this? i am not familiar with your outlet, though, so perhaps one-sided articles are commonplace here. did you even attempt to speak to many of the conspiracy theorists directly? all i remember hearing is the words of the artist. testimonials from conspiracy theorists are primarily secondhand in this article, not firsthand.
now, i want to make it very clear that i don't believe in the conspiracy theories regarding the DIA, but are there things that are fishy about the paintings? YES. one example: there were four paintings, and now there are two (the others were covered up and painted over). maybe they're not masonic, or maybe they says nothing about a NWO, but if that's the case, why were they covered up? that fact should DEFINITELY be mentioned. i don't think that it was. if it was, please prove me wrong. thanks.

People who HAVE worked on the airport DID report of an undergorund infrastructure. One electrician was so disturbed by what was told to him by higher ups about the underground project he went public blabbing to Gannett. (Denver Post / Rocky Mountain News) That part of the underground facility he worked on was built to house political prisoners. Did your (Denver based) paper, Westword NOT do any research? The construction of gulags in U.S.A by the elite controlled U.S. government is hardly a conspiracy 'theroy'. There are plenty of local TV news featuring them, Photo's and video on the internet, and congressional hearing file footage discussing them.

First thing- who gives a rats ass about whether the planes taxied over or under I-70? Let's get to the real meat and potatos of this story, which is "People are fucking nuts!"
Who really believes this? I'll tell you who.....Tom Cruise. That's right I said (typed)it! These theories reek of scientology. Call me ignorant, but aliens using Kris Kristofferson as a sort of vessel to infiltrate the human race, while abstract murals are picked apart and pieced together into loose interpretations is a crackpot theory that I would expect from the likes of Cruise and Travolta.
I work at DIA- and this is a very interesting story nonetheless. There are also theories that the runways were built on Indian burial ground, which is why the A bridge has the omnipresent tribal chanting. It was a deal made with the Indians they purchased the land from, that the music plays at all times to calm the spirits. Call them superstitious, but better to be safe than sorry. We may never know if there are underground concentration camps, where people are tortured, their soul sucked from their carcass, while alien beings dictate their every move. We just call that place the A concourse.....

It is very amusing when those involved in the construction of the DIA attempt to 'debunk' those who have every reason to see what they see and know what they know.
In this case its a painting loaded with double-speak meanings. It would not be far off to imagine that Tanguma was given a list of images to be included. Why not? That is what is done to Hollywood propaganda movies and writers are often approached by 'agents' of a governmental nature with loads of cash and promises of some fame so long as they include a list of content or imagery that will be sure to steer the minds of the public in a certain direction! It is called, 'Social Engineering'. We might ask engineering us for what? Case in point: The movie, 'Children of Men' written by P.D.James. I have read P.D.James' many murder mysteries and detective novels over the years. Then all of a sudden this very elderly British writer writes a 'sci fi' book out of thin air with content and plot that is so out of character from all her other work. Wikipedia tells me that 'Baroness' P.D.James was involved in Bureau work in her early days and is a life member of the House of Lords! Sure. It does not take a rocket scientist to deduce that the 'possibility' exists that Baroness James is doing her part as a 'talented' writer and fine standing member of the 'New World Order', to prepare the people for the bleak world to come, generating outrageous fear and despair.
I say this as an example of how so many of us are 'deducing' a whole lot of disturbing connections from whistleblowers and witnesses of 9/11,(see Michael Rupperts book, 'Crossing the Rubicon'), child sex slave survivors of sickeningly disturbing satanic and hideously degrading pedophile rings that lead right to elites around the world who use trauma mind control techniques developed by the Nazis. There are evidences of secret underground labratories where 'reverse engineered' ships and devices are being produced using 'free energy' as per Dr. Steven Greer of the 'Disclosure Project'. I, and maybe millions of others are coming to the conclusion that every single one of these 'weird' reports are very very connected indeed.
Sure, we may be the 'profane' and 'useless feeders' in their minds, but from where most of us are coming from on this issue there is an undeniable sense that slowly but surely, as surely as our Constitution is labeled by this current spoiled bastard of a president, "....its just a god-damned piece of paper...", our world as we have known it is being engineered as a place of hell and those of us in our 'right minds' are being systematically made to feel 'crazy'. In their jargon its called, 'Cognitive Dissonance' and it is the very sinister 'double bind' that is cleverly spun as 'Conspiracy Theory' through the controlled media each time someone comes forward to bring us proof of a very possible and probable 'conspiracy'. 1. I'm not sure why DIA would want to waste the time and money to legitimize hokey rumors. Sure, they could do exactly what you suggest and you know what? There would still be the same conspiracy theorists saying "Well, they are still hiding something because there is not way they'd REALLY open up their doors if they are tying to hide something. It was all a sham." I've been in the bowels of DIA and you know what's down there? Dirt. You could put that in front of a camera all day long and some people would still claim there's something buried underneath it.
2. About the runways being laid out in a "swaztika" like pattern....they are actually laid out that way to maximize the number of planes that can simultaneousely take off and land. No real rocket science to it.

because many people have over active imaginations combined with the fact they lack some critical thinking skills as well as the fact that the media is bought and paid for (no trustworthy outlets) for knowledge = a world of unknowns and crooked powerful people exists

As a researcher and activist, I've heard plenty about DIA over the years. This story has to be the best piece on the topic I've come across, despite some snarkiness by the author. We actually hear from the folks who were involved in DIA and whether or not they are cogs in a greater conspiracy, they are allowed to share their side and that's refreshing.

Cary Dean (comment #7) has half a good point. On the one hand I don't know that anyone is actually stopping other nations' space agencies sending probes to the moon to confirm/refute the truth of the US moon landings, but on the other hand it is often the fact that secrecy practiced by those with power leads to justifiable conspiracy theorising. For example, it is a matter of logic, not empiricism or belief, that Freemasonry is a conspiracy to benefit Freemasons (if necessary at the expense of non-Freemasons). It is what defines what Freemasonry is. The conspiracy may or may not be relatively harmless to society, but given the secrecy in which it is conducted, it can only be justified to speculate about its true nature and extent. Those who hide their actions behind secrecy, such as Freemasons and the Bush government after 9-11, fully deserve all of the conspiracy theories that they get.

It was to be a beautiful place, in fact I quite loved the architectural renderings. Jerry Seracuse, AIA flet this way too. But I couldn't stay during the construction, I went to work at the WTC instead. After it was shut-down, (360,k hits to my story on the net) I went back to Denver, and we walked it through, before the plastic dividers were fully pulled-back to reveal the rest of the story. Something like 24 'estimators' had worked to generate bids within pennies of each other: $1.2B and no more they agreed. "So, why did it cost $5.B and change?," Vyzygoth, asked me on-air recently. I guess it was the tunnels, because it sure didn't have one iota of the 3-year 'people friendly design elements' left anywhere in sight. It felt like Heathrow, but worse. (At least they respect the cows nearby.) I've never even been willing to fly Over Denver, as a direct result. "Just take me to the Springs, and I'll walk home," I would say!

Over the years I have marvelled at Mr Tanguma's piece, studying every part of it and seeing new things. When DIA opened, I had the opportunity to meet him next to the mural and he explained what he was trying to convey. There is no conspiracy, no dark motives, no alien, nor the UN, evil boyscouts and of the course, the Jewish controlled post office(he said with tongue firmly embedded in his cheek). People who see conspiracies in everything from 9-11 to rat feces in a box of cereal have a lot of time on their hands and bored with no useful outlets for over active imaginations. Mr. Tanguma on one hand cannot talk sense to these people who see a sinister paint stroke...as these people are under the pyschological condition of "true believers"...that is people, who, believe in overwhelming evidence to the contary still hang to their beliefs. One the other hand, Tanguma being an artist I think, realizes that his piece has world wide recognition and does his reputation in the art world, etc great good. Artist love to get a reaction from their work, because their art somehow awoke something in people and that is what artist, I think live for.
