Ride On, Sisters
Want to see the hottest women's winter sports apparel while raising money for Boarding for Breast Cancer (B4BC), an organization educating young women about the importance of early detection? And what if the clothing were modeled by strapping young men instead of women? Outdoor DIVAS knew you couldn't say no.
"We're going to try and get them in our ski and snowboard attire, but some of them don't fit," says DIVA Marily MacDonald. "They're very into it — as much as they deny it, they love dressing up like girls." It's all part of DIVAS in Drag, featuring pro snowboarder Leanne Pelosi, who will emcee and screen her new all-female riding flick, La La Land. A silent auction for a new board and jacket is also included; all proceeds benefit B4BC.
