Putting together a group show for last week's massive Art Miami gallery expo — an international fete offering first-class exposure to artists and gallerists alike — can't be an easy job for a curator in Denver. But for Ivar Zeile, the brains behind the forward-facing Plus Gallery, limiting himself was the hardest part. Along the way, he kept discovering artists right in his own back yard, all offering a depth he wanted to display to the world...and in his own gallery.

"I realized that I really had the show I was looking for, just among my local artists," Zeile says. So on the heels of Art Miami, Zeile presents Twinkle, Twinkle, a stunning group exhibition of works by seven of those exemplary emerging locals, including shining stars Nathan Abels, Mindy Bray, Travis Egedy, Martin Sammy Gardea, Noah Manos, Lela Shields and Leafe Zales. A performance of Egedy's $2.99 will add zip to tonight's opening reception, which runs from 6 to 10 p.m.; the show continues through January 19. Plus Gallery is at 2350 Lawrence Street; call 303-296-0927 or go to www.plusgallery.com.
