Life can change in an instant, and sometimes that change disrupts or even destroys the carefully wrought plans weve made for the future. In DarkBlueAlmostBlack which ends its run tomorrow as part of Cinema Qs film series at the Starz FilmCenter in the Tivoli Jorge (Quim Gutiérrez) is forced to put his life and career on hold after his father suffers a stroke. He takes over his fathers job as a janitor, cares for dear old Dad and studies at night, all while attempting to navigate confusing relationships and romantic entanglements with women.

In the meantime, Jorges best friend, Israel, is struggling with his sexual identity.
