Take a trip to the dark side of the moon tonight with Wish We Were Floyd, a local Pink Floyd tribute act featuring members of Savage Henry and several other Denver bands. The show will cover a wide variety of Floyd material, from familiar favorites to obscure early material, focusing on The Wall, Dark Side of the Moon and Wish You Were Here, along with a full-blown light show. “The most important thing is, this is a total labor of love,” says bass player/vocalist John Jeffers. “We’re all fans of the mu-sic; we all grew up with it, to some extent. We just love playing it.” It happens tonight at the Gothic Theatre, 3263 South Broadway. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door, which opens at 7:30 p.m. Visit www.wishwewerefloyd.com for more info, or www.gothictheatre.com to purchase tickets.
