Waiting for a plane in Seattle, sounding hurried and harried as a final boarding call echoes in the near distance, Josh Blue has this to say about his upcoming Denver show: "Don't hit babies." Blue, who has long vacillated on the great do/don't hit babies debate that divides the nation, is coming out staunchly against in a fundraiser for Child Abuse Prevention Month, Kick Off the Blue, hosted by the Kempe Foundation. (Blue is the color of the awareness ribbon hence, Blue the comic.) All jokes aside, Blue, an expectant father of a child he refers to on stage as "Borat Blue," is always psyched to come back and perform at the Comedy Works, where he cut his teeth and even happier to do it for a good cause. The club is at 1226 15th Street; tickets to the 7 p.m. show, available at www.comedyworks.com or 303-595-3637, are $35. Pick a side, America.
