Politics Be DAM

Just when you thought it was safe to go back into town, the Denver Art Museum’s Untitled #18 (.gov) rehashes the DNC fervor. If you’re still riding that wave of political excitement, then make your way to the museum today at 6 p.m. for a slate of hands-on activities.

This time around, you’ll have a chance to partake in the age-old art of campaign button-making. Other activities include posing with your preferred cardboard candidate, sans Secret Service (all pics will be available on Flickr.com), searching the museum for your party’s colors, enjoying a digital display of non-partisan Get Out the Vote posters (one example: “Get Educated and Vot”) and basking in the funky, soulful sounds of Nina Storey.

The DAM is at 100 West 14th Avenue Parkway; Untitled tickets are included in the price of museum admission ($3 to $13). For more information, call 720-865-5000 or go to http://untitled.denverartmuseum.org.
Last Friday of every month, 6-10 p.m., 2007
