Where's the Beef?

Get it all out at the DAM's Untitled #14.

No matter how much or how little a person knows about art, everyone has an aesthetic opinion. Tonight from 6 to 10 p.m., the Denver Art Museum presents Untitled #14, asking the question that art patrons love to answer: "What's your beef?"

A roving "undercover griper" provokes people, and for those really inspired to express their beef, there’s a soapbox (the shy can write theirs down on a "conversation bubble" and see it projected on the ceiling). Based on a painting at the DAM, the Buntport Theater crew will perform a piece titled "Joan and Charlie Discuss Tonight's Theme," and Slow Food will explain its beef with the fast-food industry.

Lindsey Housel, coordinator of adult and college programs at the DAM, addresses a longtime patron beef: "Believe it or not, some people have a beef with encountering nudity in the museum, so we are offering nudity-free tours."

The DAM is at 100 West 14th Avenue Parkway; Untitled is included in the $10 general admission price (members admitted free). Students with valid IDs get two-for-one admission at the door only. Call 1-866-942-ARTS or visit http://untitled.denverartmuseum.org.
