PETCO seeks the nation's fastest Chihuahua.
I am the proud owner of an 81-pound Victorian bulldog named Marshall. He’s the best dog on the planet, and I wouldn't trade him for anything. But there will always be a soft spot in my heart for little dogs — dogs you can tuck under your arm or into a special doggie purse, dogs that don't suffocate you when they try to sit on your lap, dogs that are afraid of your cats.
Don't tell Marshall, but I'm going to get my little-dog fix today at the PETCO Unleashed Chihuahua Race. The regional races qualify winners for a trip to San Diego on August 31, where the petite pooches will compete against fourteen other champions to win the title of America's Fastest Chihuahua, a trophy, a $300 PETCO gift card and a year's supply of Royal Canin Chihuahua food.
