Eddie Leader is one-third of hot production team Slum Science, an up-and-coming act that's been making significant waves in the deep end of the house pool since forming in 2003. As a producer, his works with Slum Science have made their way into the record crates of big-time DJs such as Mark Farina and Derrick Carter. As a DJ, Leader has a decade of experience behind the decks and has played in some of the world's top dance-music destinations, including London, Miami and Manchester. His mixes are classic-house-tinged affairs full of soulful vocal samples, pumping bass lines and sexy grooves. Now Denver House Authority is bringing him to town Friday, May 16, for his first-ever Colorado appearance. Check out Leader online at www.myspace.com/eddieslumscience, then send an e-mail to house@denverhouseauthority.com to RSVP and get directions to the party.
