A couple of months ago, Brad K. Evans joined friends at a movie, and although he doesnt remember the flick they saw, he vividly recalls the fun they had hurling popcorn at the screen, each other, and anything else in range of their lethal kernels. Hence the inspiration for tonights inaugural Food Fight Comedy Nite, during which audience members will be encouraged to express their opinions about participating comics by giving them the gift of groceries at a high rate of speed.

Fortunately, the dozen comics slated to perform wont be entirely defenseless. Were hoping the comics will have food as well, Evans points out, so that if the audience sucks, theyll be able to retaliate.
Sounds funny, in a potentially painful way.
