Silent But Deadly

There must be something about vampires that keeps us humans coming back for more. Vampires are the perfect mix of sexy and scary, but when it comes to vampires that are just plain terrifying, few cultural creations have matched the sheer scare factor of the 1922 silent film Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror.

The plot might sound familiar: A real-estate agent, Hutter, is sent by his boss to look into the property of Count Orlok in the Carpathian Mountains. While there, he discovers that Orlok is nosferatu, a creature of the night, but is unable to prevent Orlok from boarding a ship to Wisborg, Hutter’s hometown.
