Word on the street is that skateboarding is still cool. And depending on whom you ask, Tony Hawk may or may not fit under that umbrella, but he sure keeps on trying his darnedest. This evening, the small-wheel monster-truck rally known as Tony Hawk’s Boom Boom HuckJam will visit Fiddler’s Green, 6350 Greenwood Plaza Boulevard in Englewood. The spectacle could easily be described as an aerial circus on wheels, so if you’re running low on your extreme-sport fix, you’ll want to fill up on motocrossers knack-knack-backflipping over skateboarders indy-grabbing between bar-spinning BMXers with sassy pop-punkers blasting power chords and yelping about anti-conformity from the sidelines. Tickets start at $22.25 (in four-packs) and can be purchased at 303-830-TIXS or www.livenation.com. For a list of names of the professionals scheduled to fling themselves through the air for your entertainment, along with links to ticket sales and other information, huck your browser on over to www.boomboomhuckjam.com.
