Didn’t get those tickets you wanted to the Obama speech? Don’t fret. The Shoppe has the perfect alternative to braving the crowds at Invesco: taking part in the Yes We Can! parties organized by MoveOn.org.

Stop by the Shoppe tonight at 8 p.m. to watch the speech and partake in one of the hundred free mini-cupcakes (red, white and blue, of course), plus popcorn, PBR, coffee, cereal and more. “We’ll have it on our big-screen TV,” says Shoppe owner Tran Wills. “And cute, fun things like streamers and blower things and balloons. Everyone’s just super-stoked to watch the speech!” Look for Lauri Lynnxe Murphy's Boom! traveling art gallery bus outside the Shoppe at 8 p.m. as well.

The Shoppe is at 3103 East Colfax Avenue; visit www.theshoppedenver.com or call 303-322-3969.
