Outside the Office
Films at the Brewery screens a cult classic.
Even if the boss makes you work today — on a Saturday! — you should still be off in time to catch a special presentation of Office Space at the Longmont Film Society’s Films at the Brewery fundraiser. Whether it’s for the first time or the fiftieth, there’s no better way to enjoy this cult classic about the soul-deadening horror of cubicle life than with a tasty brew in hand.
Head to Left Hand Brewery, 1265 Boston Avenue in Longmont, at 6 p.m. to grab a spot (bring a chair — it’s outdoors). Before the movie starts at dusk, you can enjoy some music and participate in a contest to see who’s wearing the most “flair” — the winner will take home a red Swingline stapler of their very own. Tickets are $5 and include a beer (you will need ID) or $4 if you forgo the brew.
