Denver is home to some seriously talented women. Want proof? Look no further than Femme Fatale Three: Like a Fish Needs a Bicycle. It’s the third installation of the Femme Fatale Art Collective’s showcase extravaganza, and there are some additional enticements this time around.

“We added the dancers,” notes founder Mariah Baretta (there will be live performances by African dance troupe Kissidugu, along with a solo dancer and breakdancers freestyling all night). “We have a few more DJs, and we added the live art,” which means that instead of a ho-hum gallery experience, attendees will get to watch artists Baretta, Jessica Jenkins and Little Wing create artwork on the fly. And that’s not to mention the four DJs and hostest with the mostest Big Mama Red. Or the booths. Or the fashion shows featuring local designers.

Be there or risk seriously missing out. Femme Fatale Three takes place tonight at 9 p.m. at the Oriental Theater, 4335 West 44th Avenue. Admission to the 21-and-over show is $10; visit www.myspace.com/femmefataleartcoll_llc for more information.
