Okay, so there’s about a week left till Halloween. You know what that means to me? It means that if I get started now, I might be able to make it through every last one of the myriad mazes and haunted houses that the metro area has to offer, starting with the Chatfield Corn Maze, an eight-and-a-half-acre maze in the shape of a globe complete with illuminated bridges, a pumpkin walk, a children’s mini-maze and more, including the 25th Hour and the Butcher haunted houses (for adults and teens only). The Chatfield Corn Maze is at 8600 Deer Creek Canyon Road in Littleton, and tickets are $4 to $8 for the maze, $15.95 for haunted-house admission or $24.95 for both haunted houses. The Denver Rescue Mission Harvest Farm is an attraction with a good cause; proceeds benefit the rescue mission, so while you’re enjoying the pumpkin patch, corn maze, hayrides, petting zoo, corn cannon, corn-snake tunnel, pig races and other fun stuff, you’ll know you’re helping out people who need it.
