What, exactly, would you wear to a prom on Mars or to change a bad energy pod as you cruise through the galaxy? Most sane people dont put much thought into questions like these, but at MileHiCon 40, its not so out of place considering the company. Today starting at 3 p.m. (for contestants) or 4 p.m. (for spectators) at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, 7800 East Tufts Avenue, Project SciFi Runway is a chance for Con members to show off some Project Runway style while preserving their antennae. I always try to put a couple of items on the schedule that we havent done before, says media contact Rose Beetem. Its all about creativity thats what science fiction and fantasy are all about. Anyone can participate; they just have to show up at 3 oclock. The guidelines are as follows: In addition to the provided materials (including an extra-large T-shirt, a roll of duct tape, aluminum foil and bubble wrap), you can bring a copy-paper-sized box filled with the raw materials of your choice. Upon arrival, you will be given a theme and an hour to let your imagination run wild.
