36 Hours of Keystone, we hardly knew ye, brah. For four years, we had to ingest an arsenal of trucker speed and energy drinks in order to shred groomers at 4 a.m. and chillax with local brews and live music for a day and a half straight. It was brutal! Super-stoked to hear that all y’alls are doing Friday Night Lights instead. Free outdoor shows featuring Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, DeVotchKa and Girl Talk? Killer lodging and night-skiing deals? I think I love you, Keystone.

“Nobody’s got a free concert series in the early season,” says Katie Adamson, Keystone’s communications coordinator, “so most people, we’re hoping, will come ski all day and into the night, jump right off the hill and go straight to the show and be jumping up and down and dancing. It will be a great experience.”

For reals.

Catch Clap Your Hands tonight, DeVotchKa on November 28 and Girl Talk on December 5. All shows begin at 8 p.m. in the Hunki Dori parking lot adjacent to the new River Run Gondola. Find more information at www.keystoneFNL.com.
Fridays. Starts: Nov. 21. Continues through Dec. 5, 2008
