This weekend, you can get down with your bad self and do something good for little kids at United: A Toys for Tots Benefit Show, featuring a bunch of top local talent spinning all varieties of dance music. It's a great chance to sample some of what our vibrant scene has to offer, including overlooked talents such as Jason Roth (pictured), who's been spinning for the past six years, playing everything from tech house and nu-skool breaks to dubstep and glitch-hop. At United, he'll play a tag-team set with Sureshot of fidget and electro house, styles he's recently cultivated a taste for. Bring a toy worth $15 and a receipt to prove it, or just pony up that much cash — either way, it goes to the tots. The venue is still to be announced; you can get the details as they unfold at www.myspace.com/bigjohnsonentertainment.
