Wednesday night is now the time to party like it’s 1999 -- at the Red Light Dance Party, hosted by Ghost Buffalo’s Marie Litton, aka DJ Lil Thunder. It’s a casual, fun night that features a cross-genre mix of the best dance-floor classics of the final decades of the twentieth century. “Basically, it’s just a lot of ’80s and ’90s dance music,” Litton says. “A lot of hip-hop, older hip-hop, and Prince, Madonna, Michael Jackson -- a lot of classic dance music. A lot of girls come out. It’s a lot of fun. It’s not pretentious.”

The party starts at 9 p.m. and goes until close tonight and every Wednesday at 3 Kings Tavern, 60 South Broadway. Admission is $3 for gents, free for ladies, and drink specials abound, from the $3 Jäger and Got Vodka shots for everybody to $3 you-call-its for the ladies. For more information, visit www.3kingstavern.com or call 303-777-7352.
