Kidding Around

You might think he's just another Internet wonder, but teen comedian/musician Bo Burnham is determined to prove he's for real... and he's doing it in the flesh. The fresh-faced performer, who first garnered mass attention (to the tune of two-million hits) for his YouTube video "My Whole Family Thinks I'm Gay" in 2006 and later went on to honors on the Billboard Top Comedy Albums chart and iTunes album list for his 2008 EP, Bo Fo Sho, is now a bonafide star, with an upcoming Comedy Central Presents appearance on his agenda for March.

But first, the boy with the exhaustive resumé will stop over for three nights of live comedy at the Comedy Works South, 5345 Landmark Place, Englewood, beginning with tonight's 7:30 p.m. show. And because of Bo's overwhelming peer appeal, his Comedy Works performances are open to audiences ages 16 and older, instead of the usual 21-and-up crowd. Oh, you kid!

Additional shows are at 7:30 and 9:30 p.m. tomorrow and 7 and 9:30 p.m. Saturday. For tickets, which are $20 a head, visit www.comedyworks.com or call 303-595-3637.
