Everyone’s favorite human-vampire love match is coming to DVD: Stephanie Meyers’s best-selling Twilight book series, which hit the big screen last year, will be released for home viewing tonight. And to turn the release into an event worthy of such characters as Bella and Edward, Borders stores across the country are hosting Twilight at Midnight parties, wherein fans will line up to get their hands on a special edition of the Twilight DVD. An array of Borders stores in the metro area (including ones in Aurora, Boulder, Broomfield, Greeley, Lakewood, Littleton, Longmont, Northglenn, Park Meadows and Stapleton) are hosting Twilight Movie Awards-themed parties; customers can vote on their favorite characters, scenes, lines in the movie and more while they await the stroke of midnight. For more information, including a store locator listing every last release party around, visit www.twilightthemovie.com.
