Girl Talks

According to Howard Szigeti, founder of the Unique Lives and Experiences lecture series almost twenty years ago in Toronto, it’s a girl thing: “The overall spirit of the concept is to bring compelling female role models to speak to a room filled nearly exclusively with women,” he says. “Women talking to women has always been the mission.” And it seems like a good formula. The series, a recurring event in Denver for eleven years now, continues to bring marvelous women to town, making each lecture what Szigeti calls “Monday Night Football for women.” Right. Give that a moment’s thought and you’ll know exactly what he means.
