While Buntport Theater's tRUNks team - the very funny Matt Zambrano, Mitch Slevc and Jessica Robblee - takes a summer break from the usual serial creative kids' comedy based on book titles, the droll trio has cooked up something delicious for adults: Love and Potatoes, a well-packaged threesome of short comedies that rechannel their predilections for slapstick, fresh improvisations, absurd situations and creative costuming, opens July 10 at 8 p.m. It's billed as a wedding of vaudeville, classic fiction and, yes, produce - or, perhaps more to the point, "the perfect marriage of romance and starch." Go figure.

What you will do is laugh: Love and Potatoes continues at 8 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, through August 1, at Buntport, 717 Lipan Street. Admission is $12 to $15 (or whatever at the July 16 pay-what-you-can performance); get additional info and tickets online at www.buntport.com or call 720-946-1388.
Thursdays-Saturdays, 8 p.m. Starts: July 9. Continues through Aug. 1, 2009
