Sure, you know all about Homer and Marge, Bart and Lisa and Selma and Patty, but how much do you know about Amber Simpson? Lurleen Lupkin? Tonight you can test the depths of your Simpsons knowledge at the Yellow Fever Quiz, an all-Simpsons pub trivia game at Moe's Original Barbecue, 3295 South Broadway. (Of course you know that Moe's is the name of Homer's favorite watering hole.)
The quiz is presented by Geeks Who Drink, and teams of up to six players can play for free. There will be a visual round, two audio rounds, the chance to win free drinks and fabulous prizes, the special "Flaming Moe" drink made just for this night, and, undoubtedly, way too many people shouting "Ay, caramba!" and "Don't have a cow, man!" Teams dressed as their favorite Simpsons character get one bonus point per costumed player.
Quizmaster Kent Shelton got the idea for a Simpsons edition as he was heading off to lead his weekly Tuesday-night quiz at Moe’s and someone told him to "say hi to Barney Gumble." Says Shelton, "Twenty years of funny TV deserves its own quiz.”
